old age male with hx of htn and have bilateral leg swelling ?

what to exclude ? whats 3 important points

hypertensive-nephropathy = send urea/creatinine , electrolyte

heart failure = echo , b-natriuretic peptide BNP

drug hx (calcium-channel blocker amlodipine )

the story was he changed his htn drug since 3 weeks ago to exval (amlodipine/valsartan 5/160mg)

and that was the cause of bilateral leg swelling
